The saw is made of foam, it would have been better if it had been plastic. Durability and longevity is not practical with this headband. It is flimsy. You have to be careful how you handle it. If you are around a lot of people the saw can easily get warped or detached from the headband. Design is great. Looks like you have a saw in your head with blood is gushing out which gives a realistic look.
